LoginKey™ PIN Reset Instructions

Overview

The MFR-Secure LoginKey™ infrastructure allows you to reset your PIN in the event that you forgot your PIN or if you suspect that your PIN has been compromised.

To do this, you must first set your profile. The profile is simply another means of verifying your identity to the access server. These instructions will show you how to first set up your profile, and then show you how to reset the PIN for your LoginKey™.

Profile Setup

Setting up your profile only takes a few minutes.

To set up a profile, follow these steps:

(1)   Browse to the following URL: http://wes.mlxchange.com:8100/RSASWE. You will then see the home page for LoginKey™ registration.

(2)   Click on the “Set Up Q & A Authentication” link or browse to http://wes.mlxchange.com:8100/RSASWE/WXAuthQARegistration.do

(3)   Authenticate with your LoginKey™.

(4)   Once you have authenticated with your LoginKey™, you will be prompted to answer five (5) “life experience” questions. These are questions that are based on life experience and do not ask you for personal information such as social security numbers or bank information. To select a question, click the arrow at the end of the question and highlight the question you wish to answer.

(5)   Answer five questions of your choice. As the screen above illustrates, you can choose the questions you wish to answer. Select a question, and type the answer in the text field below. It is important that you remember the answers that you typed in.

(6)   Click the “Next” button which will take you to a screen to allow you to verify your answers. If you wish to change any answers, click the “Back” button which will take you to the screen above. If the answers are acceptable, click the “Submit” button

(7)   At this point, your answers are securely recorded and your profile is set up.

Resetting a PIN

You can reset your own PIN at any time, regardless of whether you have forgotten the PIN or not. To reset your PIN, you must be able to either authenticate with your LoginKey™, or via the profile that you set up in the previous section. This section will show the steps to reset a forgotten PIN.

(1)   Browse to this URL: http://wes.mlxchange.com:8100/RSASWE.

(2)   Select the “Change Your PIN” option. You will see a screen that asks you for the authentication method. Select the “Q & A” option.

(3)   Enter your member ID in the next screen and click “Next”

(4)   At the next screen you will see the five questions you answered in the previous section. To successfully authenticate, you must answer 3 out of the 5 questions correctly. Note in the screen below that two of the questions (#3 and #4) were answered incorrectly.

(5)   When the questions have been answered successfully you will be taken to a screen to start the process of resetting your PIN. If presented with an option, select “I will enter my own PIN”

(6)   Click “Next” and you will be asked to enter the PIN.

(7)   Once the PIN is established, you will see a confirmation screen.

(8)   At this point, you will use the new PIN whenever you authenticate with your LoginKey™.

(9)   You can test this in one of two ways, either by going to http://wes.mlxchange.com:8100/RSASWE and selecting “Test Your LoginKey” or by going to MLXChange and using your LoginKey™ to authenticate.
